Yes I know, there are too many now. That is part of the problem. :)

Thanks to my fellow scoundrels here I have downloaded so many scripts and ebooks that my computer is about to explode. I haven't even unzipped half of them let alone tried them out. No doubt some are gems and some are crap. Some are better than others.

There just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything.

We are all seeking the same thing. Methods and tools which will give us the greatest impact with the least amount of time and effort.
There is no use going by the guru's sales page. They always claim their magic pill will make you rich by next week.

So I propose a forum to be called "Product Reviews" to be used for JUST PRODUCT REVIEWS by people who have actually tried a product and can write a well thought out critique. Thumbs up or thumbs down doesn't matter.
After that others can join in that particular thread with their experience.

No wares links in that forum.
No questions like "does anybody know?" or "has anyone tried?" Ask those questions somewhere else.
Mods to ruthlessly clean out off topic posts.

Our "problem" :) (lucky us) is that we are neck deep in information and scripts, but that don't make us rich do it? :p

We need to get organized and focused. I would be happy to start with reviews of several products which I consider "must have" or "worthless"

I agree. To add to this suggestion, have the section in an area with restrictions like the Junior VIP section in the Downloads area.

I think you should put it under download section under download request so people can get an idea of what to download just my opinion.

Small, software reviews sounds like a set good pointers for noobs, so why restrict access to that? Then the noobs get the new versions of the software and can share it here.

That's neat Luther, you answered my post before I could see it.

It should be a pretty good draw for noobs. Dividing it up in to BH and WH sections, with WH open for all immediately and BH open after the 10-25 post limit may be an idea too. Incentive to participate.

Dave, SEO programs, SE Submission programs, graphics programs, blog/cms (with sub cats for modules, components, etc...), ebooks, (?word processors, spreadsheets, or office programs?), PHP snippets, etc...
