So Facebook has gone and limited the amount of invites each account can send to 100 and has also limited the TOTAL amount of invites an event can have pending to only 300!

    (source: insidefacebook.com/2013/04/09/facebook-puts-limits-on-event-invites/ )

This poses a big problem for big events and promoters.

I happen to work for a music festival that on average has 15,000 attendees. What we are currently doing is using the events we already have and changing the names and dates of them so that people that said they were going to the last event will get a notification of the new event.

Has anyone come up with a better way to do this?

We're struggling and open to any suggestions.

    Thanks.

    Tnx to spammers for that.
If you need to change ivent just now I don't know what to do.
But in future I see one way only: make 50 fake accounts with 300 friends and then send invites from earch of them.
    50 x 300 = 15,000 invites.

The problem is that Facebook is limiting the amount of pending invites an event can have to only 300. :\

is that 300 per event per account? or 300 pending invites period? must mean 300 pending per account because if you have 4 admins send out the same event to all of their friends then...?

im not a high-powered tech but i was able to conclude this: i added all of my friends into a group, permitted 2 other admins (new accounts) and was able to invite all with the 2 new accounts. so what i was thinking is that fb had the primary account restricted from sending all because the new account sent all instantly. and if the new account gets restricted, make a new one.. maybe this helps someone. also if there is any advice anyone can give me on inviting non friends to an event I would appreciate it. thx

Facebook is starting to limit event invites to only 50 invites per event. Does anyone know how to bypass this limit? I have a lot of profiles which I use for event promotion and inviting people to events. 50 is really too low to do anything. Can anyone help?
