I don't know all that much about CPA and CL, but I have the basic credit report idea. This twist just hit me after I read an article about some ex-manager at a car dealership claiming to know how to get the best deals.

What if you post an ad claiming to be an insider and you can get any a car at wholesale through your company. Applicants must have a certain credit score to qualify.. I think we all know how the rest of this story ends. What do you think??

sounds like a nice twist, best way to find out if it's good or not - TEST IT

I might shy away from being "an insider," however, instead of a insider, why not be that "car salesman who just got laid off, is pissed, and is going to share his knowledge on how to get the best deals" etc etc... ?

^ Nice. My only problem is that I am still learning CPA. I don't want to send people to my site and have a 100% CTR. I have to learn all the little tricks, sending junk traffic, dmrs, etc.

Actally you wont have a 100% CTR because alot of people would click on it and leave, and alot of people already have their credit score and whatnot.

You should mix the leads with some white hate traffic so they don't catch on to you.

all the "little tricks" will come when you get your feet wet...and you need to dry one of them off to step on grandma's carpet....

disgruntled insider is good angle. I've seen plenty of ebooks (cheap cruise/airline deals) etc. been sold 100% on this premise.

Just to let you know that sending junk traffic and masking/faking the referrer won't mean much if the end merchant receives a complaint from a surfer who fell prey to your method. By far, surfer complaints lead to more actions against affiliates than high EPC or referring URL's.

Tips? My biggest one: don't do it. The deceptive marketing you suggest screws the surfer, the merchant and the network.

Oh well i thought that was a good idea none-the-less. Im assuming the networks frown upon this type of thing really badly though.

Creative method, you just gotta test to see how much replies and conversion you can get from that.
