    Hello BHW members,

I have recently sent an approval request for a product today. It is called how to build your own PC.

I have years of background and experience on working with computers and have been consistently building new computers for people. People are able to save a ton of money by using my guide!

There are currently NO other clickbank product related to this topic. I offer the customers lifetime support as well as lifetime updates since the technology will be constantly changing.

I will be working on the sales page and product more in the future. If you have any HELPFUL comments, suggestions, etc anything would be appreciated!

Please do not leave negative and insulting comments! Thanks!

EDIT: NEW SALES PAGE! I have RECENTLY changed it and will be adding a few more stuff to it such as a banner. Any suggestions or things I should do to improve it is appreciated!

    Sales page: http://buildyourownpc.info
affiliate link is on the same page

Payout is 70% of 47 dollars.

I will re-edit and notify when this product goes LIVE on CB! :)

This is a really great idea for an ebook. I can't believe there aren't a million of them already. I know I've seen some vague websites which give you pointers on building a PC, but nothing that takes you step by step. I bought a gaming PC off of some seller on ebay and I know he just built it himself. I wish I could've done it myself at the time.

    re: the website

An old MACINTOSH at the top of the page? C'mon...I've dealt with Mac since my Mac Plus, you NEVER build a Mac from scratch. The clip art down the page is kinda lame.

WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS FROM THE GUIDE?

I want to see examples of all the shots that will show me all the different parts and how I'll be putting them together. I want to see a video which shows me a quick outline of someone putting one together with a voice over explaining what I'll be learning from your guide. Lemme see, lemme see, lemme see!

Also...you got links to WHERE I'm going to be buying all these parts? How many links?

Haha that's true but a lot of people are not able to identify that as mac in the first place. I will think about changing that because I like the rest overall design.

Thanks for the feedback! I will go ahead and add some screenshots of the guide explaining the process itself as well as removing the lame picture! haha

The links to where you will be buying the parts is in the book, and I only recommend 2 top ones because you honestly only need 1 website. It is newegg.com (my homepage!) and I have been using them to build ALL my computers I have upgraded and built in the past. I have ordered few parts from another site called tigerdirect.com as well.

As for the video, I am not sure how this will go. The minute I see 2-3 sales by affiliates, I plan on adding a video as well as a new update of the guide. This will take me about a weekend (a good 4-8 hours to do because I plan on taking MY rig apart and putting it back together) As of now, I am not sure how this will do, so I am just going to see where it goes!

I have my big LCD monitor set to 1280 by 1024 pixels and I still had to scroll horizontally to read the page.
The pc image http://buildyourownpc.info/images/img_02.jpg on left is pushing the content area towards right.

You might want to fix it to avoid customers getting annoyed.

AG Sniper, I'll second what the guys already said, 90s clip art and I had a site that scrolled side to side like that but my friends made me change it cause it annoyed the hell out of them. As far as the subject its great! I'm very interested myself and thought it was out of my ability until a few days ago when I heard guys talking about it on the group. Might have to cop your ebook.

if you change the sales page I would be more than happy to give it a go. If you're not a designer go to a freelancing site or post here.

This is a great idea for the an ebook.. sadly though your landing page just isnt doing it just justice.

    1. You have to scroll across the page, even on a large resolution.
    2. the clipart in the top left is LAME, a mac? an old one at that.
    3. the rest of the clipart is lame.
    4. the stuff in the white blocks (table of contents etc) doesnt seem to blend in very well.

Sorry for being so negative but i think you've got a great idea here and i would hate for you to loose out on lots of potential sales because the landing page isnt up to scratch.

As the others have said. Your idea is great your sales page...SUCKS.
Take a look at the top selling clickbank books on electronics and try to copy their design and letter.
Also an .info domain will make it harder for you to get a good ranking in the SERPs - I assume you don't want to make all your sales through affiliates so I'd consider spending the $8 for a .com

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Buildyourownpc.com was taken so I realize it won't rank very well in SERPS. I'll probably have to purchase another domain for it.

As for the sales page, that was totally my fault. I will redesign the sales page tonight! I will be taking the mac picture out and put a new background in it, and I will compress it so that the website fits on most people's webpage.

I will change the background color of the table of content photo as well changing the clip art picture.

Thanks for the all feedback guys! I will continue working on it.

For screen resolution size you can shrink the entire web browser by holding control and using scroll wheel on your mouse. I think control + (+ or -) works as well.

As for the domain, if there was a .com I would have purchased it as I know coupon codes to get it for 1.99 from godaddy.

Nevertheless I will go ahead and fix these problems!

I updated the sales page. I will be adding a banner, adding the links, and few other adjustments to it today and tomorrow before the product gets approved.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Hopefully this looks better than my previous one!

    Hey bro,

I still think it needs a fair amount of work, but it's a great idea :)

As for your domain name - ditch the .info

Here are a couple of domain ideas:

    http://www.buildapcnow.com/
    http://www.pcbuildit.com/ (just like sitebuildit.com)

These are both available as of the time of this post ;)

Just rebrand the site so that it matches the domain name.

Overall, the page still needs a lot of work - just research popular products on CB and look at their LPs

    Thanks renegade and popzzz!

I will probably be changing the background to something technology like and blue probably as well as doing the above things tomorrow! Thanks again for the feedback guys. Product should be reviewed by next week and hopefully I'll finish the landing page to be at least decent by the end of the weekend!

also try to get a video if you can. Assembling the parts and just giving a little overview of your system without spilling the beans
