Saw the new Batman movie yesterday at noon.

    WOW!?!?!

The layers in that movie were like watching an onion beiong peeled.

Heath Ledgers performance was truly as good as people were hyping it would be. I was concerned that his character was going to be schlocky..but it was incredible. I at times kept thinking "oh yeah this is that guy who's died..." but frankly his performance was really one of the BEST villian performances I have seen in years. He made you really forget you were watching a movie... sad he's gone

The effects were great...especially the scene with the semi...

lots of amazing twists and turns...

I'd love to see it in IMAX!!

Do yourself a favor and check it out.

defintely long at 2.5 hours but flows well. Made me wait to go pee (had to go an hour into it) cuz I didnt want to miss anything with all the twists..LOL

    thats one LARGE file...
I found myself at the end saying "man I can't wait for the sequel" and realizing that ...well that's all for Heath... what a shame...but if you're gonna go when its your time to go, go out in a blaze of glory.

Altho' they're two totally movies obviously, Jack Nicholsons rendition of The Joker seems like a mockery compared to Heaths performance.

MAN I MAY GO OUT AND BUY A HEATH LEDGER POSTER AND HANG IT ON MY WALL... and no I'm not gay.."not that there's anything wrong with that..."

I was thinking the same thing when I walked out of the movie.
This movie honestly may be the best movie I've ever seen in my life.
Heath set the bar EXTREMELY high for the next joker, his performance made Jack's look amatuer. Im more depressed now that he died then when he died.
His acting job as the joker was nothing short of perfect.

I Heard Somewhere That Heath Ledger Interviewed Jack About Playing The Role Of "The Joker" And One Of The Warnings He Gave Him Was For Him To Be Careful, The Role Caused Him To Have Nightmares. :(

I suggest that you watch in a theatre... or I have you a 52" screen it would really help too. LOL

It's really good stuff, and good philosophical angle too.

I never understood how/why people watch the SCREENER/CAM scene releases of movies.

I just got back from it. This was the best movie that has came out in a while. I'm glad that something finally lived up to the hype.

Definitely one of the best movies that I've come to see over the past year. Nothing even came close as a matter of fact. Joker was amazing. Two Face was surprisingly good. And so so dark! Amazing.

Oh and The Dark Knight broke Spiderman 3's opening day record and looks to break the opening weekend record as well. It also broke Return of the Sith's midnight opening record. Check out boxofficemojo.com for daily stats.

'...Many reasons. You need to think outside your personal comfort zone. All movies in cinemas are not in the English language, you know. For example, I first got into watching Screener/Cams when I moved to Spain. I didn't speak Spanish but wanted to watch the latest movies. Going to the cinema was useless for me as I didn't understand the dialogue. (Now I'm fluent in Spanish there is no problem).

Now I live in Thailand, we have some of the best cinemas in the world and the dialogue is in English, however, the Thai script subtitles annoy the hell out of me...all sqiggles I don't understand across the bottom of the screen.

Finally, I work a 16 -18 hour day, 7 days per week and have done since I was 19-years-old and opened my first business. The only time I have to catch up on the latest movies is to watch them in bed for 20 minutes before I fall asleep. This means it might take me a week to watch a movie as I watch it in bits. Try doing that in your local cinema.

Also, all countries of the world get the movie hype at the same time but they don't get the cinema release at the same time. In general, the U.K. gets the movies released up to 6 months AFTER the U.S.. The hype fires you up but then you're supposed to wait 6 months? I don't think so.

Oh and finally-finally, there's a sh*t-load of money to be made out of selling DVD's of a movie that has only just been released, especially if, as explained earlier, you cannot see it in your country for the next 6 months...Like a couple of thousand dollars per day if you have the network and it's a Blockbuster. Been there -Done that! (You'd be surprised just how many people STILL don't know how to access torrents and get free software, movies etc., and will pay for it already on a disc, or they are still on dial-up speed Internet making downloading of large files virtually impossible).

Want to get rid of DVD Piracy. Release the damn thing world-wide ON THE SAME DAY...DUH!

I wasn't bashing piracy. I pirate a lot... LOL. Ia m talking about the quality of SCREENERS/Cams. That's why I just wait for R5 or DVDRip realease from the scene. I have seen many Cam releases that have people talking in the background and people walking in front of the camera.

I was lucky to get a preview ticket for the new Batman movie.

Heath Ledger performance is superb. Throughout the movie the Joker outperformed Batman! I haven't seen such a strong villain performance in years.
