I have found a VERY interesting new alternative to Adsense - ONLY WITH A 100% CONVERSION RATE! - Get paid every time someone lands on your page, and at better rates than adsense click revenue.

I would describe this as a new innovation, and if it works as they say then it could be fantastic for anyone who knows how to drive traffic to a site (that's us - I hope :D )

It's called Pay Per Play (PPP) and you just put a snippet of code on your site that, when someone goes to your site, plays a 5 second audio ad for which you get paid. A different ad is played for each new visitor (I presume in rotation).

It's been running for 2 ½ years, has over 66,000 advertisers and over 550,000 webpages that have the code. If I understand correctly, they have only been doing this on their own network of sites, and this is the first time they have opened it up to affiliates.

They say that on average they pay far more than what Google AdSense pays the webmaster for clicks, but don't pay for clicks but for views - 100% conversion!

They use the same type of system Adsense does for placing the ads on your site so they are relevant to your pages niche.

Costs nothing to sign up so that's what I have done.

The code isn't available yet for placing on your sites, they are in pre-launch and say it will be ready in approx 1 week.

If you want to join, and I don't see why not (even if it comes to nothing there's no loss) here's the link:

    hxxp://www.sellingppp.com

It's my aff link if that's okay. If not then clear the aff code.

    Cheers

Thanks for the hot news. I prefer cpm over ppc, so this looks like something for me as long as they pay. lol.

Make sure to read the TOS. You are going to be paid ONLY from 1 february 2008, till then you are doing beta testing for free. And gathering referrals , yeah.

I joined this last week and am waiting to see more info from the company behind it, like how deep are their pockets and how many decent advertisers they can get. It's being promoted in the usual HYIP/make-millions-fast places that most advertisers aren't interested in, so I'm not all that encouraged to do much with it until Feb. This could be just another Agloco-type deal where no one makes money because there are far too many publishers and not enough advertisers.

It could work out, I think. I'll use your aff link if I do sign up.
    Thanks

I posted about this yesterday and thought I'd get some discussion going on how to exploit it:

Yeah I know it's in pre-launch. Was hoping to get some feedback from you guys as I respect the opinions of this here forum :)

Any alternative to Adsense - if it pays - is a good thing right.

    My repost from here:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/3529-ppp-exploit.html

I got an email about that this. Smells fishy. In most of their follow up emails, as well as inside the member's site it HEAVILY pitches the referral part. Not the actual PPP part.
The typical, "The more people you sign up under you, blah, blah, blah".
It is also strange that they want yoy to place their ad codes on your site immediately but the program won't be live until sometime in February in the earliest.
2-3 months of free advertising?? Hmmm...

I'm not saying it's a scam, I'm just saying 'Caveat Emptor ' (Buyer beware).

Exactly, sounds like they may run. That or their saving up reserves for the time they do have to start paying, on that note it may be a ground floor start up.
