OK I see that the title seems a bit pretentious. But I am really sure about it after experimenting with so many blogs.

So if you have got more than 1000UV/day, do not use statpress plugins and its remakes (like reloaded, wass-up, statsurfer). Because they make your blog crazy slow.

I kindly advise you to use "wp easy stats" which is much better, simpler and lightweight.

My blog getting 3K uv/day was extermely slow and could not find a solution. So after getting rid of statpress, it is flying like a bird.:)

(Do not tell me about w3tc or similar stuff. I tried all of them.)

Tried any caching plugins before getting rid of statpress?

Don't mean to hijack.. also godaddy site analytics slows down your load time like crazy.

Why am I still with godaddy? I am too scared to change hosts because I think I might lose my rankings

I did and I saw no mention of caching plugins. Unless I'm supposed to interpret w3tc to be a caching plugin, which I am not aware of.

Statpress is actually not meant to be activated on shared, Its very dynamic, and puts huge load.

But with proper cache plugins It works alright even at 5k visitors per day.

Try wp-minify with Hypercache and DB cache.

The combination works awesome. Also use wp-smush it to compress images.

I did read the last part of the post.

But theres no replacement for statpress.

I have also removed it because i dont need too much info about stats , i am using extremetracking.c*m.

Would try out wp easy stats, thanks!

W3 Total cache is one of the best cache plugins , By which you can use a CDN to cache and load static files.

    Code:

    @SahL, thanks

All those are setup on my blogs. I just saw huge response time decrease after removing statpress on my visitor-heavy sites.

I may easily say that I will NEVER use it anymore. Wp easy stat is much more better.:)
