FYI I am not a fan of country music at all. I was watching America's got talent and I'm looking at this person who is obviously from the south and I was pretty quick to judge him. I thought he was going to be some stupid retard who was going to make an ass of himself....but I was wrong....once again I am no fan of country music but I have to say that this was pretty good and I might not be quick to judge someone from the south. Check it out he's America's Susan Boyal

I never understood it, what is it about the South that makes people quick to judge? I'm from the South, so I guess I'll never get it. :D

Anyways, thanks for the vid. Kevin is a really singer and I hope he goes far. I love his accent.

I hope I did not offend you. Relations between the north and south have always been weird. I am actually from the east coast. I'm curious what do people in the south think of people in the east coast. When I use to live in DC I drove to Atlanta one time and when we would stop for gas or anything like people just gave us the weirdest look lol...It's just another stereotype I guess. When it comes to things that we don't understand people tend to look down on it. I have never been hunting, I hate being outdoors, I have never seen a farm, I don't drive a truck, but I guess those are all stereotypes.

In all honesty it must have been fun to grow in a small southern town. No traffic, People are nicer, and lots of fresh air. Growing up where I did you had to watch out for crack heads and theres 18 inch rats in the streets instead of wild deer running around lol.

I've never had a problem with east coasters. When I moved to NYC everyone would always sing "sweet home Alabama" to me, and always with the wrong lyrics. And even though I don't have a southern accent people can never understand me because I use slang terms like "buggy." The blank stares can be funny.

But back to the topic at hand. I don't listen to country either and yet this man's singing made me soooo sad!

No offense was taken. Just when someone says "S/He must be from the South" makes me wonder what's so wrong about being from the South, that's all. Just one of those things that makes you go "hmmm???"

Did he write this song himself? If so that's even better let alone amazing talent.
