    This year shit got serious.....

Ive been in this game since about 16, im 23 now and only for the past 4 years have I been able to work full time from home. Ive had big success and big fails over those years, been wiped out by the panda update 40k uniques a day to about 3k uniques over night, $10,000 per month down to about $1,200 per month. For about a year or more I was living on around $300 a week (I have cheap rent and not a lot of bills and a lot of money saved up) I got lazy and burned out from Internet Marketing.

It happens to most of us, the point of this thread is to point out to never ever give up and keep taking action every single day. I decided this year to get off my ass and make something happen.

So I spent $250 on a new desk, $1200 on a new much faster PC and $400 or so on Zenno Poster, Decided I needed a dedi again and run xrumer.....

For the past 4 years or so I was working on this tiny thing:

And this is what my new work space looked like right after I set everything up:

Then I decided to REALLY take action and put these up on my wall:

And now here are some of the results ive gotten from getting off my ass and just FORCING myself to take action on things before I think up reasons not to do it....

Still working my way up, these are for some BIG keywords....

    The traffic so far....

I don't care how big your dreams and goals are, just never ever fucking give up on them no matter how much failure you go though, keep taking action and you WILL get there!

Like your style! One advice, you need badly 1-2 cheap 21.5" full hd monitors, and try to implement your own kanbal or other agile system :)

lol a few people now have told me to get 2 monitors..... this new monitor is big enough so far for my work flow, I just cant see myself with a second monitor at this corner desk. Will take up too much room, plus having to turn my head more hahaha

See this is what people like me need, other inspirational storys to keep me motivated. The successful are the ones who kept going when most would have, and have, stopped. My goal is to make a living online simply so that I can travel the world and I envy those who do make a living online but not in a bad way.

It is realistically possible to achieve this I just didn't realise how much hard work was involved and I'm not a fan of hard work unless it's in sport.

Yes its very possible, but it does take hard work and time, in a sense.

See ive been in this game for a few years now, ive gained experience and a lot of it has come from trial and error, I learned what worked and what didn't.

From there I figured out how to scale and get it all done easier through automation tools ect then it becomes much easier. I hate hard work too, and I can get very lazy, but you need to put work in, stick it out and then you'll figure out whats what.

If I wasn't so lazy and didn't procrastinate so much, I would have gotten these results and experiences faster.

At first you have to work somewhat hard, then its about working SMARTER (automation tools, JVs, Outsourcing, thinking outside the box) NOT harder.

Motivating thread mate. You said you were 16 when you first started. Did you have someone guide you at the start or was it all trial and error?

Well I began researching at around the age of 16, and somewhere at 18 I think, I found a groups of guys my age who introduced me to the whole web2.0 game and this was around the time where myspace was hot and you could market to thousands of friends and all that. They taught me a little bit, but the majority of it came purely though trial and error.

I believe the best way to learn is through trial and error, its the best learning experience ever to gaining all the experience that you really need.
