Here I go again...

I live on the first floor, and there are 5 more floors above me. Floor 2 has no air condition. But the rest of them do, and they all drip down on my air con and my window there. It makes noise, and it wets my air con and also the tube that goes out of the air con and into the wall. Also wets the metal thing in front of the window, and the window itself a little bit because water drips and splashes when it hits metal and goes on my window etc.

I went to the people on the 3rd and 4th floor and got them to move the tubes where their air cons drip out of a little bit, and for the most part this solved the problem. But of course, now the water doesn't drip on my air con, but it drips right next to it, in front of my living room window. I just don't like it! But of course water is water, so due to wind and whatnot, a drip of a drip could still hit my air con unit and stuff.

But then the neighbor's on the 5th and 6th floor, I see no solution. No matter how they move the outlet tubes, due to the height they're dripping from, and wind, and as they knock on the wall of the building and whatnot on the way down, some water is bound to end up on my air con unit and window etc.

I'm annoyed...

One solution is for everyone to connect their outlet tubes to the tube that drains water from the roof. It goes all the way down, and each apartment could connect their air con's outlet tube to it and call it a day. The building next to mine, the same as the one I live in, all the apartments did just that. However, this feels like asking for too much from my neighbors. I couldn't care less if they like me or not, but I know I'd feel a little annoyed if someone asked me to do that. But I would do it and quickly too, because I don't bother other people. And if I do accidentally, I fix it immediately.

Another solution is for me to put something like this above my window on the outside:

That would solve my problem because the water won't be dripping on my window or my air con. But I'd have to put something not made of cloth, so that it doesn't absorb all of that water dripping from above and then it continues to drip, plus it would get ruined fast. But I also can't put something hard, because then it would be like Chinese torture with the water drips making noise tok tok tok tok tok all day every day, driving me insane. And at the end of the day I'm not entirely sure I'm allowed to install something like this, because rules.

I should have bought a house instead of an apartment. I would need a decent yard around the house, because inconsiderate douchebag neighbors have dogs, and when one stats barking they all do, and then you can forget about sleeping. Inconsiderate douchebag people also have unnecessarily loud bikes and cars, which they love to ride around for attention like 12 year old girls. People also have chainsaws and lawnmoers and alarms and they build and demolish and rebuild, and you can never have peace. So definitely the house would have to have a decent yard all around it. Getting a house with a small yard that has no other houses nearby isn't a long-term solution because before long someone decides to build a house next to yours, and for the next year you're living in a construction site. MoThErFuCkEr!!!

Anyway I'm getting off subject :D

Another solution is getting up one fine morning, having my coffee, getting a gun and going to each of my neighbors apartments and wiping them all out. But this is not an option, because I have no gun

What the fuck am I gonna do about these neighbors and their air cons?

Just blow all the floors off above you with a bomb.

Okay, that's one way to go. But like my gun thing above, I have no bomb

Let's keep the guns and bombs as Plan B... maybe Plan C...

Bruuuuuuuhhhhhhhh

One time i rended an apartment for vacation, and the condo board (or whater its called) agreed that they should not have the water drip outside, but inside, probably because for situations like that. But that would be even more of a hassle because you would need to route it to conect to the washer water outlet or something. Mine didn't have that, it just dripped to a water container that i would need to dump everyday, fine by me, but scuffed solution of course.

The solution of the nearby building seems perfect, just bring it up to the next owners meeting, maybe most would agree, except the top floor that doesn't have anyone drip on him.

ps: even if you waste them, others will come, so its best to get a more permanent solution, or switch apt with someone from top floor.

Actually, only the 1st floor (me) doesnt have to do this, because my air con doesnt drip on anyone. But id do it too, just to go along get along.

True that.

I cant switch apartment. Im not renting, im owning.
