So I bought an SEO service like 3 weeks ago on here for a nice sum, several of my websites ranked (multi-niche, several pages) and they're number one for their keywords. However, they are extremely competitive and I'm afraid my site / pages will get negative SEO'd.

My about us page is the only page I'm not afraid of.

    So man.. what do?

You're afraid of getting neg seo'd? If you're waiting to get negative seo then I'd suggest researching and finding the best and quickest ways to undo it. Maybe get an ahrefs account so you can check out all links being built to your site. Make a google webmasters account so you can disavow bad links.

There is nothing you can do about it. If there is particular website(IMer) who you expect to neg SEO you - just contact him before hand and say 'man, we all do the same thing here, you neg me - i neg you.' If the person is adequate enough he won't do it if he sees that you are 'SEO savvy' cause at the end of the day you have one master = google.

I think a paradigm shift here may be appropriate.

In the pursuit of a serp position you are seeking to improve your placement. While not appropriate to your situation, even if using completely white hat methods, you are still seeking to improve your position at the expense of the position of another. In this sense, using completely white hat methods, you would still be engaging in black hat because you are seeking to take position that another site/link holds. Because you are seeking to dominate another link position, you are engaging in negative SEO.

Now where were we? Oh yeah, concern about another employing the tactics against you....

Just monitor your links on a regular basis for new incoming links.

I check my new links like once or twice a week and that's all you really need.
