Just started using ahrefs to find backlinks and discovered that I have several links pointing to my site from "bad neighbourhoods".

I know the origin as my "ex" seo guy who I sacked 2 years ago for providing fake reports (x number of articles submitted, social bookmarking done when checked NOTHING for 6 months for 3 websites costing me over $5000!) Who is now working for my competition owns the blogspots that these links have been placed on.

Apart from the disavow link to report the links, what else can I do to make him think again...any idea of "REALLY BAD SITES", I could put the COMPS links on that he is working on?

    Any ideas greatly welcome....:angryfire:angryfire

The same guy hacked my blog immediately after I sacked him and demanded $3000 to re-instate it, however I had a backup and reset everything increasing the password and uploaded the content again.

As you can see he is a very nice person to deal with...

Personally I think two wrongs don't make a right

Report the negative SEO and let that guy mess up your competitions website like he did yours and go on making money
