In an effort to spread awareness that Negative SEO is more than just spammy backlinks I am sharing two links that make the case for how creative the Negative SEO space has gotten:

First: A breaking story today about how schools, media, and government websites are getting owned and that you might want to check your site too.

Second: A white paper on how Negative SEO is much broader than just spammy backlinks

https://www.ericschwartzman.com/negative-seo-report/ which has a link to the Negative SEO white paper ( no pay walls or anything )

This is breaking news right now.

Is this you Eric? Are you shilling your own article and course about the "negative SEO white paper" which isn't breaking news at all.. matter a of fact it isn't even news to begin with.

FROM THE ARTICLE:

"Last year, I got fired by an ecommerce client after tripling their revenue from organic search. A black hat SEO convinced them that investing in high-quality commerce content was a waste of time.

I'm an SEO consultant who always bought into what Google considers “ethical” search engine optimization. I've always advised my clients against trying to manipulate their search rankings artificially.

Over the last two decades, I've delivered live SEO training seminars to marketing, PR and public affairs staffers at the US Dept. of State, the United States Marine Corps, Boeing, Johnson & Johnson, UCLA, Toyota, and others. More than 70,000 SEOs have taken my white hat online SEO training course."

You probably got fired because you are clueless about SEO in general as your very own domain has +200 K links and 500 monthly traffic:

I am surprised that you thought that you could pull this off here and that anyone wouldn't notice that cheap shill of your SEO course :p

So AGREE!

This is a PR Campaign, by all of this guys.

  1. Ted Kubaitis. He makes money by selling his software, not exactly doing SEO.
  2. Lee. Selling a $7K SEO Course.
  3. Eric. Selling SEO
LOL

No. I'm not Eric. Nothing I offer is any part of this. I contributed information... Oh the crime... give me a break... other than facts what did I offer. Fuck yourself for the accusations. Thank you very much . :)

You'd think that people would put more effort in when they are asking $7K per course but no.

This was so low effort it's insulting :D

Stop the cap and stop making things up.

Which part of that article is breaking news at the moment?

Why did you think it was necessary to include that there was no paywall?

You tried to persuade the community and sell that article to everyone which is utter nonsense as the entire site.

...and just coincidentally they are selling their courses right at the very beginning of your link.

Please delete your account, you are not adding value to the community (Y)

Hello OP, as I didn't disrespect you, can you please explain why this is breaking news to you? I've done this search trick for CPA offers in the past. It's nothing new. Sometimes some sites don't make their search result pages "noindex". So they can get indexed with the help of a few links. This is almost like parasite SEO which is trending now. But what is the news here?

Also, why you didn't link to the white paper directly?

It is breaking news because Google made everyone believe they had things handled when they retired the URL parameter tool. Actual websites are being exploited this way currently. When google retired the URL parameter tool these old tricks all came flooding back. If you read the business insider article you will see the implications with real authority sites... It also impacts low authority sites but we didn't want to spotlight those.

Please read the article... No courses or software or paywalls exists in there... Yes they exist elsewhere your services do too.

>Please delete your account, you are not adding value to the community

no one can... anytime a serious topic comes up it can't be discussed productively here.

>Why did you think it was necessary to include that there was no paywall?

Because trolls seem to always make it necessary... this thread as proof

>Also, why you didn't link to the white paper directly?

Because when people make good freakin content you shouldn't just steal it and not credit it... he made it and thats how he wanted to share it. Who the heck are we to tell someone else what to do with their content?

I just went through the 2 links.
The 2nd link is a "blog post style sales page", it's not a white paper.

So, if you are NOT stealing content? Can you provide where you got that screenshot? If you are NOT stealing content, please provide reference to that screenshot.

Clearly that screenshot is from Ted Kubaitis, you can spot it on the Bookmarks LOL (SEO Fight Club Zoom, Access to TOP SEO Factors Page—Referred in that "book", and SIA)

or, I mean, how are you Ted?

This POST is clearly ONLY A PROMOTION OF YOUR OWN PRODUCTS.

I add a 2nd screen shot, promoting SEO Fight Club since 2017, a comment you made.

So, I'm suspecting you are Ted Kubaitis.
