Hi guys!
Here goes. So I am a content writer right now with a decent number of clients. The thing is I think I should try to secure more clients. Here are the things I have done so far to make sure that happens.

1.) Purchasing Jr VIP here on BHW and responding to appropriate WTB and HAF threads daily. I have found short term clients only through BHW though mostly. I have a BST as well.
2.) I have a decent authority freelancer.com account with 186 5 star reviews. I bid there on writing projects. It's a futile exercise as I get just 3-4 clients per month from there.
3.) Joined FB groups. I have joined them and am always on the lookout for quality writing clients.

Is there something that I am missing here. I tried Upwork and Fiverr but didn't manage to secure any clients at all. So, is there any advice which you guys would like to give me in terms of how to secure more number of clients through some other way?? Running ads on social media is out of question due to budget issues.

I would be forever grateful for some actionable insight or advice. Any out of the box suggestion is also welcome.

You should be more persistent on upwork. Build a custom profile for each niche you specialize and portfolio and then apply for work. You can also purchase reviews, I think people here offer that stuff.

1. Try building your website and ask your clients if you can use some of your work samples.
2. Go to larger websites and see if their website has a good converting landing page, and if not, contact them and maybe do 200-300 words and show them what you came up with so they can see your talent. Or, you can do it and then attach it to an email from your site email [more professional than some gmail] and see what happens.
Also, state you don't use Chatgpt and the importance of that, and use it as a selling point, saying that it could cause problems in ranking, etc.

Just some ideas.................

You have decent number of clients but no paid traffic budget?
