Does any one know the script for that Un-Closeable Pop-Under? The one that shows up minimized and you have to go to Task Manager to close. I have seen it happen when browsing Warez and Dating sites but I can not find the actual scripting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Easiest thing to do is write a bit of javascript to make a pop up window and them make sure its positioned off the screen. Make sure the x and y locations are so far off screen that you need a 500" monitor to see it.

It will show in the task bar at the bottom but no one will see the window.

Hope that helps a bit!

@fatboy: Thanks, but users can still right click to close - I have seen some that require task manager to closes and was wondering if anyone knew that script

What is the use of this? So you can have it as a launching pad for other popups using a meta refresh or what?

That's a good easy way to do it, however, you could always right click on the window from the taskbar and close the window without any problems. the other way is way harder for a newbie to close the window. But this is a good easy way to do it.

Yeah, most of the time it's used for launching more popups but I need it for another project so I need the one that doesn't allow you to close with the right click/close on the taskbar.

Anyone know it ?

I've seen them where somehow it disables closing from the taskbar and you have to go to task manger to end process in order to close.

Mmmmm, how about this as as stop gap until you find the script:

Make the window pop up off screen, if they close the window (from task bar or task manager) it just pops back up again.
