    Hey guys.
I need to recover files from a partition on my hard drive. The partition is 10GB and says that only 1.3GB of it is free. WHY????

I had my system recovery files in there and will lose them all if it is gone. I am desperate for help.

How can I recover all the files on that partition ASAP. Thanks in advance

getdataback for ntfs, it helped me once
but before do this, i recommend to run the chkdsk from command line, in case if you use win xp:
    Code:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265
it checks your hdd and also tries to repair it, if it is not helping then use getdataback

Check this thread I made a while ago:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/member-downloads/112081-get-must-have-tool.html

You will need another hard drive to install the program on. It will then scan the faulty hard drive and bring back all the files onto the new drive. Works like a charm.

I just hope you have another hard drive.
