Well I dont know what sort of level you are meant to be at for an SAT but three months is a reasonable time to learn a good bit.

Start off with learning basics. The English Language has over 500,000 words, somebody with University education will have a vocabulary of 30,000 to 40,000 words but the average man on the street will only know 10,000-20,000.

Its been proven that in daily conversation you could get by with 800 words.

So I would start learning lists like

    Numbers
    Animals
    Colours
Basic Greetings and Goodbyes used in a sentence structure.
A technique that can help you learn fast is to buy a big block of postit notes and write the English on to every item you can find in your house. By assimilation you will learn a lot of new terms in a week.

well actually my level is good...I know a lot of words already...I chat in English...read threads...some series without subtitle...the test's level is high... they use complicated sentences and words you know...I was thinking of some books like 504 words or 1104 ...

Damn I remember taking my SAT's back in 2006. The 'reading' & 'writing' sections were the hardest to score. 'Math' was a walk in the park. Honestly, I only used available SAT study guides and kaplan practice test books to prepare (Free from my library). You mentioned you have a big test 'like' SAT's. So try to find study guides and practice test books for this particular test to prepare?

    Good luck :)

test books and practicing stuff for sure I'm going to do...

the test has different parts , some questions are Grammar related which can be passed easily I just need to study some books and guides so yeah there wouldn't be any problem here hopefully...

great number of tests are meant to test the reading skills and understanding texts something like that...fortunately I do great this kind of tests..

and there's a great number of questions which just needs large Vocabulary...this is the part I have a little bit of problem...I think my Vocabulary is like 2k , maybe more I dunno...

I just took a practice test and hit 50-60 percents (37 correct answers of total 60 questions)...it's good actually because I haven't read any Grammar yet...but I want to hit like over 80 percents in the main test and the main test has more questions , it's 120 I guess...
