I need to make use of APIs / data feeds on my new site and this type of task is beyond my expertise. I'm a marketer not a programmer.

That said, I'm starting with Amazon so I need somebody who has experience working specifically with Amazon's API. If you don't have experience with Amazon but are very experienced with this type of thing and don't think it would be a problem for you, I'd like to hear from you as well.

I basically need this information to be implemented on my shopping site divided amongst different categories etc. If this works out well, I will also need you to add at least one other store's API data as well in the same way.

This is a serious project for experienced individuals only, please. I will explain the finer details of what I need done to interested, qualified people. Thanks for taking the time to read my thread and I look forward to hearing from you.

What you need to implement, assuming you wish to use XML as the data transfer language, is called a web service. Web services are often extremely powerful, yet easy to implement. It is even easier to implement if you are starting with new hardware and software. If you wish to import amazon products into a wordpress woocommerce environment, you cannot go past this plugin.

I hope this helps. If you can provide more detail about the project I am happy to give some free advice here, I have done subjects at uni on the topic.

Thanks brother I appreciate the help. My site is Wordpress but it's not running woocommerce because I'm running a specific theme that uses custom post types etc. So I'm not sure if that plugin would work for me. But I will look into some "web services" and see if I can make it work.

Question for you. Will content from various data feeds rank well in search engines? Or do I need to add my own content to the site as well if I want to rank?
