Need to give more info to newbs upon signup...

Hello,

I am by no means an old timer here. However, I have already grown frustrated by the posts from newly registered members like "Which method to make me $1000 a day", "Help me make money", "HOLD MY FUCKING HAND WHILE I PEE", you get the drift.

I'm sure this can never fully be stopped. However, what about the intro email that goes out after one registers say something like this:

"Welcome! There is a lot of info on BHW and we invite you to search our site before you start asking questions because the answer already likely exists. If you are interested in making money with CPA visit this sticky (link), blackhat SEO visit this sticky (link), etc." Oh and by the way, no one is going to appreciate you asking how to make money on your first post. (you lazy dumbass).

Anyway, something along these lines might it better for all of us!! Just my 2 cents!!

Didnt' think of that one and its a good idea! Something to stop the daily threads that go nowhere.

This may be a fairly good idea for new members.

That is a great idea - absolutely great.

I seriously think, if it hasn't already, be forwarded to an admin for consideration.

Right up top on the home page in nice bold letters

"HELLO NOOBS! READ FIRST, PARTICIPATE, CONNECT WITH PEOPLE, and only after you've done some research and tried a few things, ASK QUESTIONS"

Talking about being lazy. You should be worried about people who
are too proud or too lazy to ask that question "How to make XXX per day?"

Search function is great but out of so many results, which methods are updated
and still working? People who ask simply does not want to go through the hassle
of doing their own research. I think you can't blame them for being smart enough
to ask. They might be the ones who take actions before those who are too shy
to ask. You never know.

That's my opinion. Newbies here means that this forum is still growing. Its
a good sign. More viewership in the BST.

The issue isn't having fresh blood or newbies visiting the site and learning. The problem is that most don't take the time to read the information that is available. Minimally, they should come in and read the stickies in the areas that are of interest to them. If there is a specific question, great ask it! If it's just "how do I make the most money before tomorrow" that is that crap that would be nice to eliminate/reduce.

Yes I agree that it is a smart thing to do to ask questions but only if they are intelligent questions. And if someone is unwilling to do the research and just hope that someone will hand over their method to make money on a silver plate, they shouldn't be here because they won't achieve anything 99% of the time.

could it be that some are merely posting because they want to boost their required post number in order to PM someone? True there is enough info on here to keep noobs busy for quite some time, and often if you read the threads, the questions are answered.
