You got an automatic ping tool to save you some time?
If not, Check out Joe Tierney's bloggergenerator. This ain't a plug, he's got some free tools there in the popup that can speed things up for ya.
With that many blogs, I would assume and if it were me, that I would ping them until indexed. It could be quick, it could be slow, but the other ways I use to get indexed is assuming that I am only doing a blog at a time. I don't think you want to spend that much time when you could easily integrate auto pinging and build more blogs.

Ruck, I have just come into posession of an auto pinger and was wondering - should I ping every page of a site? Should a page be pinged only once? If more than once, at what frequency? I have a few more questions about pinging - it would be great to have a pinging masterclass.

Well how's the site structure?
I am assuming this is a blackhat site. Normally I do not advise about blackhat tactics but I can offer suggestions . I am very conservative though, as I like to see them last for the long haul or at least get the most from them.
To be clear. Is this a site or a blog? I normally would not ever ping a site or it's pages. I would have a good linking structure within the site and have a link on a blog (or blogs) leading to the site. Pinging the blog will have spiders crawling and following the links to the site. Now, I am not an expert nor do I claim to be one, but I will offer you suggestions and examples to the best of my knowledge thru my own trials, errors and successes.
Ping Class:
1. I don't suggest pinging a site. I don't know of the ramifications but I have had all my success with links with VARYING anchor text on blogs leading to my site. The idea is a blog farm, but too much at once is not a good thing, and this is where most people fail.
If you look at a blog farm there are many things that can happen or go wrong in this scenario. Generally if your pinging a lot of blogs your IP can be blacklisted for up to 24 hours. This is not written in stone, this is something I have personally noticed. It happens the most with moreover. (Moreover is basically the pinging service which brings the MSN spider). From the get-go it looks as if Moreover is very sensitive. We want to be careful here as there may be unwritten agendas that can set off numerous *red flags*.
Pinging too much from the same IP is a problem. Here's the kicker though. Pingomatic sports a pinging service IMO that blows. They don't have near the services Pingoat does and a lot of times I seen Pingomatic down. So the alternative is to ping Pingoat that will segregate your feed automatically to all the other services.
This really saves our ass. The ping is coming from Pingoat and not from us. So they aren't gonna put the stick in their ass whereas if we segregate our pingings individually to a list of rpc and ping urls we are more likely to have an IP blacklisted or even worse.....banned.
Utilize Pingoat as much as possible. I understand in the world of multi blogging it's hard to keep up with and we are all pressed with time. Don't worry I am going to address this issue as well.
Ok, now we get into pinging Pingoat. Yet again, we have been dealt another potential problem. Ever noticed when you ping a new blog that a (you been blacklisted message) appears and asks for a captcha type in? This is spam prevention but looking closer I have notices it will do this sporadically thru time with a blog on just any post. So when your think your pinging, you actually may not be, so keep an eye on it. Also, if you have a blacklisted IP at Pingoat the message will still pop up, type the captcha in but go to the recently updated blogs. Wait around 2 minutes at most, if your blog isn't there, you got blacklisted. Normally it lasts for about 4 hours. I do not know why. So that's just a heads up.
Your blog should be setup for pinging diversification. That's the best way I can put it. Having a blog roll with a link to your site used to do the job but it's just not like it used to be. I personally use Wordpress and like to setup (shit cant remember the plugin) but you can make keywords in the plugin options and automatically link to whatever pages you want. This is a real time saver. There will be initial time that it takes to set this up, but I promise you that it's so worth it. I personally will take one site link and pay attention to what the link connects too. If it's to a page on cancer, then I will setup 2-3 keyword phrases alone for that one link. See what we have done? Every time a post is made with those 2-3 keywords we have an automatic deeplink to the inner page of the site. We aren't just anchoring with one phrase either, we are linking with multiples which gives Google options to index and rank us for multiple keywords on one page. It's Slaughterhouse
FAST AND WE DON'T CARE:
Alright like I said I normally don't advise this but if you are on a mission and can spit out pages after pages then here's what I have done.
I use Joe Tierney's Grablinks program. I input my domain and it will return my links. Now if your databasing or feeding and you can spit out tons of pages then the program may take a bit. It will look like it freezes, but it ain't. Just let it sit for a bit. After you got your 10,000 links or whatever, yes load them up in the BlogPinger or AutoPinger. I personally recommend a setting of 12 hrs (twice a day) for 3 days or until you see indexing.
NOW:
After 3 days if you start to see indexing, then you should stop right now with the pinging. Most people will ping until they get a considerable amount of pages indexed but I can tell you from personal experience that this is a bad idea. Your pinging static and you have been pinging pages that have not updated but are telling search engines they have. This is deceiving and we already do that, so don't push the issue.
After you see just one page in the index then stop. Wait 3 more days and check out how many pages you got indexed. You will be able to start to gauge a little bit and get an expectation of how many a day are going to show. Write this data down as it is important to guage off of as you move on to building more. One thing to note is that once a page has shown up in the index you can bet your bananas that Google has been there. Your either setting in the queue to be CRAWLED or you have been crawled and are waiting to be INDEXED. Big differences there and knowing them will help you to not overdue it.
That's about it for now I guess, if there are any specifics I'll do my
best to acknowledge them the best I can.

Just one more thing - if pinging a ton of pages of 1 site, what do you suggest should be the interval between pinging each page? My software pings using proxies so no problem about IP bans.

If you have a sitemap or sitemaps there is no reason to ping all of your pages but if your doing it just to move as fast as you can then I would personally recommend every 12 hours on auto.
I really find it hard for me to answer this question. I have never done nor do I want to supply information that could potential harm your site. But the above is my suggestion.

You have a list of pages. You load this list of pages into your auto pinger. You set your pinger to ping every 12 hours. With this setup the pings will be sent from your pages to the ping sites automatically twice a day thru your auto pinger.
{edit} After analyzation of your post.
I see now what your saying about pinging time *between pages*. I dunno really, that seems like a good plan as I normally would have thought to just load the list of pages and hit ping. It would flow thru them automatically.
I guess 8 seconds is an added time frame but you could defintely split the time frame and say set half the pages on one day and the other on another day. There are many ways to do it really.
Personally I run a network of 6 machines so I could easily break a large site into proxy IP's systematically pinging on certain times and rotating thru different days.
If you need any help, feel free to skype me as I probably would be more help on a more personal level if I knew exactly what we were dealing with.

imagine you put all your pages blogs or affiliates link in TrafficBoosterPro RSS Submitter( a big list) and each time finish sending change ip does it work please like this idea (surprise me before first time i get a lot of visits and when i submit every day a lot with same ip less visits) now i understand blacklist because same ip
so put a list arround 100 links
and when finish change ip
does it look like correct ?
