    Hey all,
Altho' I have Camtasia5, I need to edit some videos (some Camtasia and others pre-existing videos) for a new product launch I have planned...has anyone used Sony Vega for editing and mixing? I d/l the Vega demo (and looked for a crack but there seems to be issues with that even being possible with that product.)

Any opinions and help would be greatly appreciated for what you use or would suggest.

I've never used Sony Vegas but heard it was alright. Personally, I use adobe premiere to do my video editing. A little complicated at first, but you get the hang of it. Very powerful.

Ya, I definitely recommend Premiere over most anything else. Depending on what you need to get done, After-Effects might be your thing as well.

I do everything in Premiere, me, but that's only because I'm too dumb to use After-Effects. I create all my visual effects in Photoshop and shoehorn them in with Premiere by hand, which ends up looking spectacular but takes 10x as long as "normal" people, haha.
