First off, I will say that I am a marketer, not a programmer or coder. If it's doable with Wordpress then I've got it handled, otherwise I like to hire somebody to build out my custom sites. However, I only hire people who are experienced and have skills worthy of a serious project. That said, if you don't have a BHW reputation that speaks for itself I will need to see some of your work along with some sort of proof that you, in fact, were the one (or one of a team) who built and/or designed the sites you are showing me.

Now to the project. It's simple but it needs to work properly and as quickly/efficiently as possible. I want to make a lightweight comparison/search engine catering to a specific travel niche and targeting one country only (not the US). The site will need to take the user's query and scan/crawl around 50 predetermined sites without relying on APIs or any third party resources and subsequently provide all of these results in a list, starting from best to worst. Many of these sites are very large and will have a lot of data to crawl - but only regarding the one specific country. Or maybe these scans/crawls would be done periodically rather than on-the-fly, I don't know and frankly I don't care - whatever will provide the best user experience. As an experienced individual, you will be better at making that call than me.

Hopefully I haven't sounded like too much of a dick here, but this isn't my first time hiring from BHW and I have learned what I am looking for and what I'm not looking for in the person I hire. I look forward to hearing from anybody and everybody who feels they are qualified for this job, and a rough ballpark estimate would be great too if you have enough info to do so. If not, ask any questions you like.
