Hey guys, I'm running an autoblog network and get 100% search engine traffic. As you will see below, my traffic is mostly coming from US, so I wonder why my conversions are low. Not going to be specific, but my niche of choice is entertainment & media.

Any specific suggestions / tips to try would be much appreciated. The latest strategy (starting today only) I'm trying is to make OGads appear to be a security verification / captcha rather than a plain content locker.

Here are the stats for reference.

Damn, you have lots of traffic, you could be making $100+ per day.

Have you tried improving the locker? Maybe the traffic just sucks.

Would you personally recommend a specific network? Top of my mind I would test CPAlead next. Did CPAGrip prior and that was way worse.

The traffic is mostly US based, so I'm pretty sure there's some money in there, it's frustrating... Do you have suggestions on improving the locker? I've tried the following approaches:

"Premium Content - Complete 1 offer below to unlock this content"
"Security Verification - Complete 1 offer below to prove you are not a robot and view content"

Is your traffic mostly mobile or desktop?

Perhaps what you are locking isn't good enough for them to complete an offer? For instance I wouldn't complete an offer to read a news but I would to get a new computer.

Appreciate your replies. Traffic is mostly (80%) desktop coming from the US. You might be correct since people don't exactly come to my sites looking for a product, instead they're looking for information. That's why i'm testing the human verification sort of content locking now. Would appreciate any ideas on how to monetize better, if CPA isn't the best way. Using popunders on them also give me only about $3 total per day, which is bad.

You could lock half of the information and create a button "Unlock the rest of the article".

Ah 80% is desktop. That's probably on of the issues since ogads is focused on mobile traffic but you can still earn from desktop. Keep changing the locker title/description to something different.

You don't have enough traffic to make money from popunders. Adsense would be an option if you had unique content. You could try affiliate products.

The issue is, your visitors can probably get the same information for free on other websites. Why would they complete an offer to get something other websites aren't locking? Do you see my point?

I think you're doing something wrong with your traffic, I used to have 8-12% conversion rate with US traffic when cpaGRIP was still nice. I was not using any hacks/cheat website, I was using a blog as well.

I have a similar problem. My visitors are really motivated to complete the offers but unfortunately not all of them go through, maybe that's because the offers are difficult to complete sometimes, I don't know. The thing is I use Sharecash because Ogads doesn't pay me enough per conversion. I'm also looking for a network that pays $0.5-$1 and has offers that are easy to complete. I get worldwide traffic but mostly from US. I heard that there are some websites that pay when you refer someone but I don't know how reliable they are.

Move on from OGAds. Offer payouts or absolutely shitty low. You're better off with another network.

Yes, I see your point. The behavioral nature of CPA won't work with the information I'm offering. Thanks and this has steered me to go back to CPC. I'm avoiding Adsense since it's an auto blog network. I'll probably go with the next best, Media net.

Thanks for your input. As posted above, I'll be moving to CPC. But, just wondering how you're doing with Sharecash?

Their offers are difficult to complete and some of them ask for credit card information. More than half of my traffic clicks on them but but most of it doesn't reach the other side. I only get conversions from US with them, about $1 each. I'm currently looking for something that's easier to complete, such as ppi, including desktop ppi, some network that doesn't "shave" traffic.

I'm running an autoblog network too and daily UV is about 6k-8k, most of them US, I redirect all of them to a so-called smartlink, at first 2 weeks I got 200+ usd per week, and then 30-80 usd per week:D

Interesting, can you explain how to set this up and which network is this? I think we're the same, I couldn't care less about my visitors since it's an autoblog network. Redirection is fine with me.
