Hi Gurus,

The title says all. The channel was purchased from a legit seller, with 13k subs and just got monetized in April.

Facts:
1. I didn't change the channel name and branding;
2. Niche is video game. I didn't change the niche completely. The original 50 vids are all for one single game, I started to upload videos for other games, all original content;
3. A bit self-promoting, post on Reddit, FB, and manually search & click using friends and family accounts;
4. New videos got keyword rank day 1 and then the rank disappear, it's barely searchable then.

The current situation is, I uploaded 6 vids and all got less than usual traffic “like 100 vs 500”.

Should I just keep uploading, or there are some adjustments I can do?

Thanks for any input. I think this topic will be of great value for any new tubers.

That's how these monetized channels are. I am sorry bro but I think most of the subscribers are just bots

That's somewhat expected, thank you for your reply.

So I'll need to keep posting, like building my audience from scratch?

Or should I start from a clean slate?

You have to be sure that the subscribers are bots before you move on to start from scratch. Have you confirmed it?

can scale this with doing mass comments on other niche related posts on social media to gain more view traffics.

The seller might have sold you dead channel. Next time, you should grow channel on own.

When you bought, how many views videos were getting on average?

no one is selling a legit yt account with hella subscribers , unless it's their own. you could try to see if it lets you livestream. thats another income stream.

I doubt the subscribers were genuine.
And what kind of video game videos you were uploading? Only recordings of the game or game reviews, etc.?

How can I confirm that for sure?

I uploaded 20 videos (daily) and the overall channel views and subs grew, but the new vids (also gaming-related but different games, different format) gets low views and went dead in a couple of days.

What other changes did you make on the recent videos posted, like have you been using the same format as the former videos?
I didn't change the channel settings, branding, etc.

The new vids being uploaded are all original (I made myself) but in different format.

The odd is that the sub grew at a good pace, like 10 per day.

What should I do now?
