Been looking through themeforest, but there are SO many themes, and most are much more in depth than i need.

Do any of you have theme recommendations for using for a small business owner? Just super simple and clean, maybe with the ability to list 5-6 items for sale? If it had visual composer would be great, but not needed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I had a similar requirement for some of my clients. I tried the themes organic shop and organic web shop from themeforest. You can change the images and color scheme to suit other products too.

Have you considered Divi by Elegant themes? You can ahem obtain it in the downloads section.

It has a built-in page builder, so you can make your super simple with some items.

Searching through Themeforest is basically a set time investment I have to make when building a site... interested in this as well. Seems that marketplaces are too small or have too much junk.

As a suggestion, a lot of the time, if I like a theme but there's too much stuff in it, I give it to a designer and tell him what to change in a very specific way. I find that if I remove elements myself w/ Chrome's inspect element feature then take a screenshot, I can give it to a relatively cheap designer and he will be able to come up with something that's right on point. More expensive than just a theme... but at a certain point you lose your mind searching for a theme. At least I do.
