    Hey bhw,
So i have a few solid tactics and am able to create a niche blog and get almost any blog made from #1-#5 in google.

The problem is.. my traffic is only about 10-15 per day at the #1 spot (not really sure why MKT samurai said I could expect 70-100) My guess is that people click thru to ads on the google search network.

The goal here is to raise residual adsense earnings only.

I know I should link build and the adsense placement I have can be done better.
    So this is already done:
    √SEO Site √Indexing √social bookmarking √profile links

    And this is my plan:
    1) better adsense theme
    2) add blog comments
    3) your suggestions!??

But have you checked and compared your keyword search stats as of late for your current keywords? You should always check them at least once a month. Use google's sktool. It is free and will give you google's traffic for the month on those stats.

IF you ever have traffic and then it doesn't meet your expectations for your baseline, do the following maint. routine:

    * Check your keyword traffic flow to make sure traffic is infact coming to that niche. Change them if required to kw getting the traffic flow you require to meet your sales profit quota.

    * Check your keyword density and then update it again if your traffic is coming into the SE but you aren't getting it, someone else is, not because of your keywords or natural search position but because your content in your blog/site needs to be tweaked and streamlined because people aren't currently interested.

    * Make sure that you aren't bending over dollars to pick up change. That means that if you are getting more clicks through your adsense than you are getting through your actual onpage offers, you are screwing yourself and need to ditch them or put them on a nothing page, as you are ' distracting your potential clients ' right off your page.

Same thing with any affiliate ads, banners, etc. They are loopholes and will make you steal your own traffic to someone else's site and offer. Tie those up and market YOUR stuff, not some else's, that you are in no affiliation with but in the same market as due to the ads being related and attached to the SAME keywords you are marketing for. This is why I study and know adwords/adsense but NEVER use them on my website properties, EVER.

    Food for thought.

Very good points, i didn't consider the google sk tool probably need to learn a little more about it, but turns out that a there is a large interest in this niche in another country that I'm not hosted on, so likely this is why I'm not getting as much traffic as expected.

My sites are very keyword targeted to be honest, very little competition, but decent search volume. It would be interesting to write a sales-like page then dropship the product and make a profit on it. it may be a little more work though.

The site took very little time to make, so I'll try different things, i understand adsense pays crap, but also it's easy to set up on a mass-scale for lots of keywords so i guess that's the advantage, thanks for the input
