The beats suck. Get sony 7506 for that price or if you have some more money get the best headphones out there - audio technica ath 50. maybe even akg 240.
I love my Tritton AX Pro's, but they are a bit out of your price range. Logitech makes a good headset, as does Plantronics. Both for around $100.
I remember the tritton ax pro 5.1's back in the call of duty xbox days haha
Nice pair but i dont need the mic etc , Just some studio style headphones.
The mic is detachable, and the sound is effing amazing. Sounds like I'm sitting in a theatre. Can't beat true 8 speaker surround sound.
Sony's are ugly lol. Will checkout the other two.
Closed back or open?.
I've had virtual 5.1 before and its terrible.
Another good top of the range 5.1 headset is the Astro A40's.
Good for gaming also
My Sennheiser 515 Game's are open.
I might get sound isolated ones. Not sure
Head over to http://www.head-fi.org/
You'll find all the answers you need there.
Just remember if you get a headset with a High OHM rating then you will need a pre-amp or a powerful amp to drive them.
Good luck. There is nothing better revisiting your favorite tracks and hearing bits you never heard previously.
I will check it out.
Thanks ! +REP
Well thank you.
Please let us know which set you go for.
Should maybe have a little technology lounge here in BHW lol
I really like my Sennheiser HD 202's.
That would be nice, however i'm afraid it won't help me a bit and it's exactly because of heavy usage of headphones/earphones + concerts/clubs if you know what i'm talking about.
slowly but surely i'm drifting towards deafness
A Technology section and maybe even a sports section within the Lounge section would really seal the visiting (barr my own) of any other website for me
Loads of common interests shared by members here but just not shared on here.
I myself is really happy with Bose. I have one pair of the QuietComfort witch is really nice to use when my GF is talking to much
An i have another pair of Bose with a mic, i cant remember the name of those.
