    Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't sure this is kind of a general topic.

I've been trying to make money online for about a year or so now and I'm having alot of difficulty. I've taken many approaches - from simple things like fiverr gigs to affiliate marketing. In the end these methods haven't produced many tangible results, so I've decided to stick with something tried and true - AdSense. Now over the past few days I've gone overboard with SEO and this has been earning me anywhere between $5-$10 a day which is nothing; I fear the moment I stop working on this full time my earnings will drop to 0, purely because 99% of my traffic is direct and not organic. It sounds silly but I think I'm using more money on electricity than I am earning.

Originally I had set up 5-6 niche blogs with the intention of monetising them, however after a year of no profits I decided not to renew the domain names; the philosophy behind this being that if I can't make a go of one site, how can I manage six.

So now I'm desperately seeking help from people on this site, the majority of which seem to know exactly what they are talking about.

    What I do have:
    • A short catchy three charector .org domain name.
    • A PageRank 2
    • A personal blog set up on this domain name covering both web design and music.
    • A #1 rank in Google for a couple of my keywords (however these keywords have little competition).
    • Twitter, Facebook and Google+ accounts
    • A valid AdSense account
    • £100 worth of AdWords credit

    What I don't have:
    1. Connections on the internet i.e. Facebook friends, Twitter followers etc...
    2. Money

Is there anyone out there that could give me some honest advice on what to do next, I refuse to give up - but at the same time I'm at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks very much!

Choosing the right keywords for the adwords campaign as well as for your site is the basic key to start with, I suppose.

It seems after the penguin update that social links are the way to go (atleast it is for me) so i would get on it and start working on those twitter retweets and facebook shares.
I would also go with scheduling unique content atleast a couple of times a week the next long period of time so you don't have to think about that.

Slowly work yourself up with guestposts (can get them for free if you write people unique content) and forum profile links.

That alone should net you some visitors and get you back on track.

    Try Pinterest.

    1) Make 4-5 accounts, follow 800-1000 people with each one. That will land you aprox. 300-500 followers.
    2) Repin about 300 popular pins on each account. That will give you some more followers (in some cases ALOT more).
    3) Take 100 popular pins (popular categories related with your niche) and save them to your computer.
    4) Make a post on your blog/site with max. 3 pictures per post.
    5) Pin them to your Pinterest profile linking to your website.
    6) Repeat steps 3,4,5.
    7) Repeat step 6 infinite+1 times.

It works like a charm, no hit and miss issues unless you're doing affiliate (clickbank, amazon etc.).
PS: BEWARE: Thou shall try to do this manually and thou shall do this method for no more than 5 accounts. If a valliant knight should muster the courage to use more accounts I urge him to take the path of the proxies, for he shall be damned into the Pinterest banned inferno where he will be mauled by a raving 3 headed Matt Cutts hydra. You have been warned! Muahahahaaha .... HA!
