Hey guys,

I have been doing a little keyword research tonight (I used to do tons of keyword research, but I forgot about a lot of it so I'm practically starting over brand new). I came across 8 different keywords that I think should be pretty good in getting a website going. I just want to know what you guys think about their stats.. For obvious reasons I'm not going to lay out the keywords here, but I can tell you it has to do with making money online with a hugely popular website. Here are the keyword stats:

The first column would be the keyword, the second column is the monthly global searches, the third column is the number of results I get in Google when I put the keyword in quotes, i.e. "keyword 1" and the fourth column is the moneyword matrix score I got when comparing it with their simple little table.

Also, when doing keyword research, is it good to put the keyword in quotes for EXACT results in Google in order to see how many results come up? Because normally, people don't search with quotes around their words, so if I'm searching with quote around my keywords and I get a high ranking with the quotes, does that mean I'll have a high ranking when someone searches for my keyword without the quotes?

Anyway.. Thanks to anyone that can give me some tips. I definitely appreciate all the help I can get!

Exact is what the searcher is typing in with no quotes

so if someone goes into google and types....greasy burgers... then that is what you would put when using the keyword tool (unchecking the broad and switching it to exact)

The only thing that confuses me about it is... say I went and I found a great keyword like "learn to type".

Well, if I go into Google and I search for learn to type (without quotes) then that returns 889,000,000 results. Well, if I then put quotes around it and search "learn to type" that narrows it down to 907,000 results. When I typed it in without quotes, those search results were completely different than what they were when I put quotes around it. (not this specific keyword, but there have been plenty of keywords that do this)

So if I rank high for the keyword learn to type and I have an EMD learntotype.com - does that mean when someone searches for learn to type without quotes that they will get my website at the top?

The keyword research is incredibly confusing.. Just when I think I've found an amazing keyword and an EMD to go with it, these kinds of questions pop into mind and it starts to make me second guess everything I'm doing.

This. I still have a lot of confusion when it comes down to EMDs and also exact vs. broad. The other thing that I always have trouble with is not finding something that is high traffic low competition, but a keyword that is actually able to generate revenue. Is there any advice for this, especially when it comes to building a MNS?
