You go to yourdomain.com/cpanel and once you login you will see the option to install wordpress plus a host of other applications. If you have a problem in the future you can go to their site and click on the live support link to chat with them.

i believe i am missing out something , like editing nameservers or either godaddy or

    may be hostgator.

Baby , you are right when you say that you see dumb people .

Cos i am dumb enough to search the help pages on hostgator and google and

i paid them through paypal .

Is it that i have to go to godaddy and change something ?

    btw ,

my domain name is somebodytolove.info which is parked .

and the cpanel you guys are talking about is somebodytolove.info/cpanel which is parked

    as well.

If you are seeing the parked page, then go to GoDaddy and add the nameservers Hostgator sent you in the welcome mail. May take a few hours before the changes take affect everywhere on the net.

I dont need validation from any random virtual identity
Being smart is just a word, being wise if life is a different story

Check godaddy if you have set the nameservers correctly
If its correct then leave it

if you just bought the domain few minutes ago to an hour, then its still propagating which can take up to 2 days

You may also try to clean your cache and history

    Good luck

If you are seeing the Godaddy parked page, three possibilities

    a) You have not set the nameservers at Godaddy. Login at Godaddy, go to Domain Manager, select this domain, click on the icon above that says "Nameservers", select the custom nameservers option, and enter the nameserver details that hostgator would have given you.

    b) If you've already done this, but just a short time ago; the DNS changes may not have got propagated. Sometimes it takes upto 24 hours for the updates to be seen.

    c) The third possibility is that it has got propagated, but your browser / ISP cache hasn't been refreshed. Try refreshing the view (IE : press the F5 button, Firefox : Ctrl+R. or try going to a different computer and viewing the site.

These should resolve your issue; if it still persists, feel free to PM for help.

Let's start at the very beginning
A very good place to start
When you read you begin with A-B-C
When you sing you begin with do-re-mi

    Do-re-mi, do-re-mi
The first three notes just happen to be
    Do-re-mi, do-re-mi

    Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti
    [spoken]
Let's see if I can make it easy

Doe, a deer, a female deer
Ray, a drop of golden sun
Me, a name I call myself
Far, a long, long way to run
    Sew, a needle pulling thread
La, a note to follow Sew
Tea, a drink with jam and bread
That will bring us back to Do (oh-oh-oh)

Just ran a whois check - the nameservers are still shown as being as ns53/ns54~domaincontrol~com, which is godaddy's nameservers.

You can go to hostgator dot com /tutorials dot shtml - that has their video tutorials.
(sorry, I'm new here, can't post urls)

Go down the page - about halfway down is a heading that says "managing your domain with another registrar" - Godaddy is second on that list.

The rest of the tutorials should also be useful for the various preliminaries including cpanel / Fantastico etc...

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

not all you see is real
even something that looks real can be fake
    its all an illusion
    its all in the mind
when you get to encounter the kind of light we see, you will realize that all you have learned from the beginning is false

have great day and you are watching LOST on Abc!
