    Hi all,

I somewhat-recently became a Jr. VIP at this very wonderful forum, and I thank BHW for everything it has done for me!

However, right now I have a small issue.

I became Jr VIP in December and started a Joint Venture with another Jr VIP here on the forums shortly after. Things seemed great at first, and we were hitting some decent numbers in our first month. This was around early December.

To make a long story short...Fast forward to now, and I still haven't been paid by my JV partner. He claims that he has only been paid by one network and is waiting for checks from the other networks.

It's now February 1st....The latest checks could have been sent out as according to him and just by knowing CPA companies in general is January 15th.

Just wondering what action you guys think I should take. I have been asking about the money, and I keep getting the runaround. It adds up to a decent amount of money, just under a grand for my half, and was somewhat depending on this money.

    Any advice?

    Thanks,
    -4

I hope you didnt get involved in business with someone and you didnt get any personal information from them? Phone # email address etc?

If you didnt then huge mistake especially if the checks are being sent to him. Can you log into the affiliate networks and see if the checks have been cut? If so where did they go?

Start hounding him, emails, calls etc until you get your money and cut all your means of driving traffic until you get paid.

And if you still dont post his name on here so everyone stays away from doing any business with him.

Hounding shouldnt stop until you get paid.

Start nice of course say come on dude, we made some money and we can continue to make some money and both succeed with this so just pay me what you owe me so we can continue to grow, and instead of $500 checks we will get $5000 checks.

But once i gotten paid from him if i was you id move on. Not worth chasing someone for your money each month, plus working and not knowing if you are going to have to deal with this stress.

So try that angle first then after several tries then start with the verbal treats by saying you will email the CPA companies and tell them he doing all kinds of black hat shit, cookie stuffing etc then they will hold his money and ban his account, and they will for sure if you tell them that they will start asking him questions about his traffic and red flag it each time.

Threaten to tell the CPA networks you were using about the type of traffic you were sending. Either you both get paid or nobody get's paid.

BTW, what member did you JV with?

If you have the phone number then he can easily be tracked.
This is the number one reason people get the "door knock".

Also, you can get his account at the CPA network banned easily
using his referral url or id. Easily.

    Right,
because a blue coloration on the forum handle and a paypal payment is really a adequate formula for trust

well bro - just my .05

Sometimes payments from the networks are late. AM's are fucking notorious for promising payouts at a certain time - but sometimes its really out of their hands. Alot of times if you start pushing alot of traffic they will do additional quality checks with the advertiser to make sure they arent getting F**ked.

Being the mastermind of some crazy schemes, trust me its often just as or if not wayyy more stressful being on the other side of things. EVERYONE is in this for the money. Everyone has deadlines, due dates, and shit. People gotta plan their lives according to when they get paid.

When you're doing a JV and everyones looking to you to get paid - and then the payment terms change or the AM doesnt live up to what he promised - you're left answering all the inquiries that you sometimes don't have the answer to.

Its stressing enough having a handful of people inquiring, no wonder guys like Mike Kongrel talk about not being able to sleep at night because of all the people relying on them. Oh wait - im sure his bed's pretty damn comfortable... but you get the idea

If he has only been paid by one network ask for that payment only 420, if he doesn't agree to send it, you were scammed.

I jv with someone and we both have access to the networks. Checks do take a while to come in from the affiliate networks though.

ok, yeah ,now you can't trust anyone , i know a JR.VIP , still hangs out in this forum , who scammed one of my friends for more than 2k of his share .
Well that person did all the hard work for 4 months , and then when the time came to pay his share , he just stopped responding.

I am just waiting and constantly suggesting him to post in shitlist about that scammer JR.VIP . But he is just rather ignoring that stuff , as he has more important things to concentrate on.
