    Hi

I got a couple of adult websites. So far I have not let google index my sites and my traffic sources has been social media.
I have been using free domain since I have done no SEO so far. How ever now I want to give google a try and I need some advice on a 2 questions that I can't find the answer to...

    1. Should I go for a .com domain or a .xxx domain?

    2. Is long-tail-keyword domains good or bad when it comes to adult? (Seems like people have different opinion about this..)

    Best regards / Snatch

Why is this good? Since .xxx is for adult sites, should'nt this make the website rank more easy on adult keywords?

as .xxx will not give good results in search engine and mostly not allowed in many sites for promotion.

    Thanks for all the reply's!

The SEO/Search engine is not that important to me, as I stated I allready got good traffic from social network. I also want to "be done" with the adult industry so the reason I am doing SEO is because I want to get out the last cream of hits before I leave. So I dont want to put in too much effort in the SEO of this projec and I will be happy with just a few hits per day (1-100). Also I want this to be _LONGTERM_ would it still be a good idea to go with .com instead of .xxx? Does'nt .xxx feels like a better investment for the future? I mean there are SO MANY blackhat adult sites in the google search results that is pure shit, only a matter of time before google once again cracking down on adult sites(?) And since the .xxx is new and more expensive does'nt this feels more quality and exlusivity? Especially if think a faw years from now?

What do you mean with "mostly not allowed in many sites for promotion." ?

About longtail keywords, I have heard (read) that this are harder to rank on in tha adult industry because in most cases its a blackhat site filled with scams and and virus, Is this correct or not?

For now .com is better, but I think Google is going to start treating .gtlds better. They'll likely give more value to .xxx for porn sites so that if someone is looking up porn on google it will know to prioritize that content higher. Same with .bank and other gtlds.
