    Hey guys,

I am looking for some guidance for those who are or have made money with YouTube and ClickBank in the past.

    I have a few questions:

    1. Have you made money directly from inserting your affiliate link (shortened) or have you made more sending them to a blog?
    2. If you're targeting a certain niche and have found a product you'd like to promote on Clickbank do you make your videos around a certain keyword related to that product, or something like product name review?
    3. Do you use Animoto type videos? If not what do you use?
    4. Do you ever use the Youtube tool for keyword research/accessing your competition? (I don't care about ranking specifically on Google, my main goal is ranking on YouTube.)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I make money on youtube now. I havent touched my youtube channel in months and it is still generating the same amount of money since i did months ago. I made tutorials on youtube then i linked the tutorials to my website. I had about a 4% ctr to the website, but they did not lead to any sales. what i make money on youtube from is the ads.

I'm doing YT + CB and have around 12-14 videos on youtube generating me some money on autopilot.

    1. I'm using url shortener and it works. But it'll be better if you have .com and redirect to the sales page or build your own, high converting landpage.
    2. Usually [product name] + [review][scam][discount] works great. I'm using review type of videos.
    3. If the sales page have a video on them, I just download the video, upload it on YT and rank it. Presentations works good as well, with your own voice. Check out Sony Vegas Pro, Adobe After Effects. You can find some good templates online for free.
    4. I choose products with 40+ gravity and just rank it for products name + review.

    Awesome. A few questions:

Any minimum and maximum gravity of the products you promote?
Do you rank solely on YouTube or on Google aswell?
Do you use the Youtube keyword tool?

30-40 is the minimum gravity I'm looking for and I choose products that don't have very big competition. If my competition has more than 30-40k views, I move to the next one. I'm ranking only on YT but you can build some link as well. Try to embed the video on some WEB2.0s it helps ranking. No I don't use YT keyword tool. I check Adwords keyword, if my video has 1000+ local searches, I'm giving it a try.

    Sweet thanks man!

Last question if you dont mind:

*How do you access how much compeittion a certain keyword has on YouTube? Like how would you know this is a good keyword, this is a bad one? Is it based on views only?

Well I always use product name + review as my keywords. In this case the viewer already know about the product and is interested in in. He's looking for more information/reviews for the product and it's easy to convince him to buy your product. Some more ideas about keywords - scam, discounts. These work great. My stats are btw 40-100 hops/sale.

About the competition...the most important elements in ranking a YT video are: # of views, viewing length, backlinks, proper description, tags and title. Check first 3 videos on the first page and see if they're optimized properly and if they are, move to the next product. You can still rank it but it'll be expensive. That's why I just move forward.

Two quick questions if you don't mind answering
    1. How do you create "review type videos"?
    2. Do you use new youtube account for each product?

Are you able to show one of your video? I understand perfectly if you don't want to.

    Thanks

Make great videos and people will watch them. Link to a pre-sale website (rather than a hoplink) that you have set up yourself to convert the traffic.

I'm uploading videos on 1 account, but it's my personal one and it's quite safe. I'd suggest you to create 1 account for product or good looking accounts with nice channels for different niches.
