Need Short URLs?

    It's a time-consuming job finding short url services that actually work and don't utilise some sort of intermediate page to promote themselves to your traffic.

    Attached are the urls of 28 services that work well (at the time of writing!!) without any grief. A couple of them need you to register but the end product works well.

    Wrote my own, so all my links that I put in blog posts / articles have the form:

    some-more.info/at/somerandomword
    
    The code takes the random word on the end of the link (in this case somerandomword) and then redirects to the correct page.

    Its not one of the well known URL shorteners and places like myspace don't refuse it (it refused tinyurl the other day for me!)

    This script can work on any domain you want but I thought it looked good when I used my old some-more.info domain with the sub domain 'at'....reads like a sentence :)
