OK, have a team building program that I want to promote to Principals via email. Tried scraping emails from States Dept of Education but cannot separate teachers emails from principals emails. Don't want to spend $800 to purchase lists. There are several magazines aimed at Principals but again, have to pay.

    Anybody have some other ideas?

    TIA!

IF you can scrape the principals name from the list of schools, then compare them to the list of e-mails for teachers; most times schools will have a standard e-mail format i.e. last name first initial, etc. Figure that out and try sending only to the principal and vice principal using that school district standard e-mail structure. Good Luck

@Thoughful - thanks for the reply, unfortunately most (so far all) of the email scrapes don't differentiate

I cannot blame you for not wanting to spend $800 because of the risk involved, but you are gonna get what you pay for. So you wanna pay nothing, don't expect to get much for it.

Marketing to pre-qualified people (all principals) is going to have a cost if the list is worthwhile.

How are you offered the list for $800? Is it a reputable company? I watch offline marketing expenditures that run up to $10k for a single buy, and all this does is get a pre-qualified list of people to market to. Very reputable company we get the list from, and we bank on the return we get.

Anyways good luck to you. Cheers~

@thedorf - yes, kinda expected we may have to go that route, just thought I'd ask in case there was a way around purchasing. Thanks for the input!
