    Greetings all!

I would appreciate recommendations for moderate cost web hosting sites. I've read all the reviews (complaints) on here about GoDaddy (thanks for steering me/us away from that pit!), but still don't know which site would be best. All the reviews I've seen on the web are basically affilate links wrapped in glowing reviews.

Looking for a site where I can have as many domains/ sub-domains as possible with decent support (which I guess leaves GatorHost out, unfortunately). At this point, I probably won't be posting adult content, but might use a throw-away domain as a re-direct to a few. Will also probably use some BH techniques in some of the others, but nothing too blatant.

Cost, as always, is a factor, but uptime and support and not having my sites ripped off are higher priorities. Doesn't matter to me if it's in the U.S..

Any suggestions and what have your experiences been.

Many thanks in advance. Will give +reps for helpful answers.

    I can recommend Servage.net

Shared hosting at low price, excellent features, friendly support, very easy to use and powerful proprietary control panel. No hidden fees, no extra charge if you would exceed the monthly 5 Terrabytes of traffic quota.

Free domain comes with your first order. Very fast setup.
While other hosts need 24-48 hours to set up a new domain, Servage surprised me to deliver the ordered domains set up 100% within only 30 minutes (.com and .eu).

The best part is the referral system that allows you to pay once and use for ever and never pay again for hosting if you keep referring each second month a new customer. Referred customers will get extra storage place.

Go to Servage.net, read their descriptions of services, and if you are satisfied, then order by using the coupon code neverpayagain to get an extra space of 25GB for free.

To make links to your main pages, you can use keyword rich creative subdomains at the following url's:

Free host (located in UK): interestingfiles.com
Free unlimited WP blogs (located in Germany): tellsyou.info

    Both provide very good bandwidth.

Servage is good but they have their own control panel (a bit restrictive) and not very good for high-traffic site.

Two forum members already started to use Servage.net with the coupon code neverpayagain. Maybe they'll also share their experience, if they are reading this thread.

Yes, it's good, and that's why they are good in shared hosting, because they made a more secure cpanel to prevent some hackers hijack your account, and they keep the shared traffic safe from other's abuses, to let you have enough CPU capacity available.

In any case I don't recommend installing a You Tube clone, or a rapidshare clone on Servage.

And if you are going to make a really high traffic site (above 1,000,000 vistors) or you need intensive chat applications, such as for a very active dating site, then you can always ask Servage support for a custom tailored solution (and a premium price).

Anyway, Servage is a very convenient solution when you need shared hosting (not VPS or dedicated server). It's hosting service fits well for already over 160,500 site owners, including myself.

About cpanel, I like more Servage cpanel than any other. It's just a matter of habits. There is no Fantastico, but you have one click install for many applications, as forum scripts, e-commerce, blog, CMS, gallery etc.

I like very much the unzip and symlink functions in the Online Filemanager.

You really don't miss the SSH, because you can do every task without writing a single command line, all is available from GUI.

I can say I am satisfied with Servage, because I had and have sites hosted at other hosting services, too, and I can feel the difference.

I have been using servage for over two years and they are the most reliable host I have come across. No complaints here. Except for the suspension after 400,000 hits a day. It only gets suspended for a little while though.
