    Hell fellow blackhatters

Which hosting plan and hosts would you suggest for a wordpress website that gets 100,000 UV's or more daily. I was looking at mediatemple and their wordpress hosting plans that seem reasonable, but I am not familiar with mediatemple or its reliability. Siteground gets a lot of praises, but they're kind of costly.

I also was checking out poweruphosting.

Any suggestions? I am currently using hostgator and believe me, they are driving me to hell from all angles! :(

I looked into MT years ago (7+) and heard mixed reviews about them but their website and marketing material really got my attention, lol. One of their selling points, I believe with their Grid, was their ability to auto scale based on the traffic a site received. If your site had a huge spike in traffic because one of your posts went viral, things wouldn't come crashing down. I do find MT to be on the pricier side compared to others, but I'm sure some would argue you get what you pay for.

Have a look into digital ocean. I hear good things about them. I don't have experience dealing with 100k dailies, so I don't know which plan would serve you best.

I believe jQuery still uses MT to host their site for what it's worth.

Edit: I too once had Hostgator and feel your pain. They went down hilll once they sold.

I am using siteground for one of my sites for the past couple months or so, but I haven't gotten a chance to really see how they hold up when traffic starts to increase. I hope they won't start getting spotty. So far, so good. Will update you if anything significant changes.

Giving your website traffic, I would just contact the web hosting providers you mentionned in order to get a quote and a proposal for your website.

    Hii
According to your requirement you should go for "Managed WordPress Hosting" because Managed WordPress Hosting is that you do not have to worry about ANYTHING. They optimize your site for performance, make sure that your site is secure, and keep regular backups. On top of that they advise you if a specific plugin is having a negative impact.

They are good hosting providers. Inmotion and Siteground are famous for wordpress hosting. With your requirement, it will be better to use VPS to handle your traffic or managed wordpress hosting. I'm afraid that your site cant run smoothly if you only use basic shared hosting.

Now, I do want to say that Wolfcraftserver.com have been responsive in their dealings, which cannot be said about many other companies. Overall, this appears to be a decent company that is really trying to make a good name for itself in the web hosting business.
    The promo code is: ILOVEWOLFCRAFTHOSTING
    It gives 10% on everything.

Try to search for other cheap web hosting packages that offer the applications needed for the web site.
Hostwinds hosting solutions provided are excellent. Great value for money and the support when you need it is readily available in a friendly, patient manner (which is great for non techies like me).
