I started using Stripe recently and so far so good, you can accept credit cards on your website using them.

I use 2Checkout for most of my services and products. Pretty good service and the rates are very good.

Approval is just a day too.

I can understand your concern. It's also a good practice not to put all your eggs in one basket. So that we can suggest PP alternative better, what it is exactly that you're looking for in a payment processor? There are plenty of them out them. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Your location also plays important role in determining which payment processor you can use.

We use 2checkout as well, though I haven't found the service always to my liking and the rates are higher than you could have with a credit card processor. However, they accept credit cards and paypal, so if you don't want to use paypal but have clients who do, they are a good option to work with.

Stripe will apparently approve you instantly and the rates are similar to PP. I set up an account there after HelloInsonmia posted as I thought to spread my wings some and approval was instant.

    is this for seo?
for seo I dont take credit cards or anything that's reversible. too many retards getting upset when they find out it will take more than a week to reach page 1 for 20000 searches $100 per click.
I guess it depends how much risk you are willing to take. if you wanna take credit cards you could try talking to your bank. I know Chase offers this.

    hey where are you based?
I think there are many alternatives to Paypal these days.
Have you tried the mainstream ones like Braintreepayments, Worldpay?
    Yes Stripe is competitive too.
If you're in Europe, there are a few good trustworthy ones too. I have used 2 of these Processors and knows others that are using them.
    Sagepay, Worldpay Europe, Kayswallet, Paymill,
    Hope that helps
