I know it doesnt include the words you were looking to use but how about 'No Meat Streets'

Also being a Vegan (mostly raw) myself, I know people who choose a lifestyle as such would probably appreciate small indicators if the restaurant is vegetarian, vegan, or raw vegan (raw foodists) not sure how you could work that out.
 
The name should be short and easy to remeber (Of course shortnings works to) but my suggestions are

I actually like this one a lot. The play on words is creative and that's easily brandable. I may end up using it.

I like this one too. This is actually one of the ideas I originally had for the name. I want to get a few ideas though before deciding on one in case there's another I like better.

Yep, I already got all of that covered. There will be different symbols and some sort of color code to distinguish whether it's vegan, vegetarian, raw vegan, or veg friendly (serves meat, but also has vegetarian/vegan options).

I will probably be deciding on the name by Monday as I plan to get the development of the app started next week.

You can do this with google maps app. You can type any keyword and it will bring the search results starting from closest location to where you are located, along with the reviews including yelp and others, hours of operation and directions of course. I don't see why someone would pay for your app when they can use google maps. Either you have never used a smart phone in u.s or you are not telling us the whole picture :) It's your money anyway.

True, but Google Maps is not niche specific for this market. It certainly doesn't include as big of a database as I will be providing in my app. There are tons of different niche restaurant apps out there that are successful regardless of Google Maps providing similar results. For example, there's some for italian food, chinese food, food for people with allergies, lobster, etc.

Plus, I don't think I will be charging for my app. At least not at first. I have other ideas for monetization, mainly ads. Once I build up enough users, I can contact restaurant owners and ask if they want to pay to advertise their restaurant in the app. I can also run CPA ads related to the market and much more. The main thing is getting a huge user-base and from there I have a lot of ideas for monetizing.
