    Try Stephen Pierces Optimindzation.

I am sure I got the MF link here on BHW. There is a track on the CD that helps me go to sleep like, dare I say it, a baby.

As tiny begins babies require more things the average human would need but in smaller portion or in different way.You can try this one Rock-a-buy-baby
Rock a buy baby, Tree top,
When the winds blow, the cradle will rock
When the bough break, the cradle will fall
and down will come baby, cradle and all.

    One more for your baby

Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
    All through the night
Guardian angels God will send thee,
    All through the night
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and dale in slumber sleeping
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
    All through the night

    Angels watching, e'er around thee,
    All through the night
    Midnight slumber close surround thee,
    All through the night
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and dale in slumber sleeping
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
    All through the night

I would suggest looking for some good instrumental soundtracks. I used to babysit regularly when I was younger and the baby Einstein didn't seem to work nearly as well as a relaxing instrumental score and those are nice to use as background music too while you're working.

I had some horrible kids and I wound up building up a massive playlist of around 200+ instrumentals collected from various sources that we could both enjoy.

Also, just for fun, you should try Rockabye Baby. They have Aerosmith, AC/DC, and etc and they've all been turned into relaxing lullabies.

i used to play alot of mozart and stuff for my son when he was younger

but babies love familiar sounds so even having something like a mobile that plays the same track over and over is good for them as they associate that particular track with going to sleep, i haven't heard the rockabye cd's but a friend of mine has a couple and says they're good too

now he's about to turn 4 and listens to Queen nonstop :D

I sure am glad I checked out this thread. My wife and I just had a baby. Shes one month old now. That Rockabye Baby music is awsome. That Journey song posted above sold me.
