Micro niche site or macro niche site (not EMD, old domain, normally safe of Panda, Penguin, etc...)

I would go for micro niche sites, so then you can learn. Because , most likely 99% you will fail, but hey you need to fail to learn. Anyone that is passionate would do it because they want to learn. So, try any of them, if you fail and you give up then you weren't really passionate. IF you fail, and then you don't give up then you just learned something new. Seriously, I think MNS are really not that great right now, but go for them because you need to see that for yourself and learn. If you try to avoid failing and going for the easy route, you really won't even learn, because you will always try to go the route where you won't learn, since failing is part of learning.

Seriously, you need to fail in order to learn.

no, what i mean is dont go small. choose a **subject** you are passionate about, something of high interest. creating, maintaining, 10 mns versus one is a lot of work. 10 times the effort doing all sorts of waste time shit in setup,,maintaining, email, backing up, creating new content, themes, admin, etc.

focus on one good site with good content
