Need help with website modification - simple

Need to have a website modification - script installed on current html website. Script is php and simple software. Download and upload, I believe. Only understand html so am concerned it be done right. Appreciate the help and response. Please IM me if you can help me.

Also need a simple .edu website which can be blog, forum or? No database is provided for it though. Would like to target study at home programs but not necessary. Cannot be a mirror as Google frowns on that but can be similar to other sites. Can be html, php whichever works. Please im me if you can do.
