Hello Fellow BH's!

I've been busting my ass on a new site that I put up...won't/can't even begin to fathom the hours I've put into it, but I average 14hrs/day for the last two months...fun.

Anyhow, I'm promoting the hell out of it now using all WH methods...

In the course of tweaking the presentation, I wrote an e-book that I'm offering to new members if they sign up...for free.

However, I'm also hocking this baby for $27.00...

Here is my question...

I have put it into click-you-know-who and am awaiting their approval (I have the pitch/thank you pages done and loaded on the server)

...but I thought I'd also see if anybody here would/could help or have advice to help move some of these things off my shelf, if you will...

I'm giving the aforementioned affiliates 20% of the sales...and I'd be willing to do the same to anybody here who wants to help push these things....I can certainly go higher if it means moving these things at a good clip...I just need to make some money...like now. LOL.

I don't really care how you go about it...so long as it won't effect the hundreds of hours I've spent doing my site...i.e, getting black listed or my PR tanked by the g00gle bots, etc....

I will provide links to the squeeze/pitch page and the e-book itself if you PM me....it's a solid guide and worth the 27.00 IMO...of course, I wrote it ;-)

also apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section or out of line in any way....

Thanks!

To be honest 20% is not enough to attract a substantial amount of affiliates. Especially a new untested product. If you look through the marketplace on clickbank you will see all the top products are at least 50% and many of them are at 75%. Also, if you're relying on just affiliates to push your sales you're going to fall flat on your ass.. Have you tried marketing it yourself with PPC/CPC/Email/Banners ... ? Do you have marketing materials prepared for your affiliates? You should probably post more information about the ebook on JV sites and stuff like that.

bhnoobz is right, you're going to get nowhere offering affiliates 20% (I put all of my products at 60% and think no more about it) and you're going to go nowhere but backwards relying on affiliates with no existing network in place.

Basically, you're going to have to transfer that 14 hours of work you put into development over into marketing. Yeah, it sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do.

hmmmm....good food for thought. Thanks!

I basically didn't know where to start other than click bank, lol. I'm doing article marketing and backlinking for the main site and that just take hours and hours to do white hat....which is fine, I don't mind the work!

I'm doing safelists as well...I know 'guru's pan the safelists, but a large portion of my daily uniques are coming from safelists, so there's still some gas left in that tank....

I'll look into those programs you speak, er, type of...thanks for the info!

50% sounds like a lot, but if there's plenty of volume, I can be happy with that...

P.S. - Any good reccomendations for JV sites? Are you talking like C0mmy Junci0n and them sorta folks?

Clickbank is great for selling your own product. Much better than that paydotcom bullshit.

clickbank is great if you have a way of getting your product near the top of the marketplace by gravity.. or if you have access to a large network of people with CB accounts. Otherwise it's useless. They take about 10% of your sale in "fees"... I made a lot of money from promoting my product on there, but they took almost 400k in fees.. needless to say I moved to my own merchant provider and now happily pay about 3% after all their "fees"..

My suggestion is to advertise to your exact target market via ppc and optimize (split test) your funnel before you do an affiliate network launch.
