Hey guys.

I run a site/wordpress blog where I answer questions essentially through a contact form to users. I get around 20-30 questions per day (maybe 50-100 views of the site per day). I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to monetize a site like this. The traffic isn't very high, but the questions are very targeted to various niches within the healthcare field.

I was considering adding ads to each answer which is targeted to the question. Anyone have any experience with something like this or know another, possibly better way to monetize this concept? Or do I need significantly more traffic before this can become profitable.

For reference, the service I'm providing goes as high as $9.99 per answer but I am determined to try and keep my site free.

Thanks.

Affiliate links may be very profitable for you in the long run.

If each of the Q&A topics are very specific, then you should be able to recommend a product or service via a link in your answer. Then you'll get clicks, referrals, and potentially commission from each of the sales later on. This might not seem like much, but after a lot of links are there there, you may find that it's a nice passive income.

Adsense, maybe? I'm pretty sure before they ask you anything they've already googled it, so they'll get related ads, hopefully this will get you a high CTR.

Thanks for the input.

I had not previously considered affiliate links. Because I answer questions that span virtually any topic in healthcare, do you know of any business or marketplace that allows you to sign up for 1 account that encompasses an entire industry (like healthcare)? Otherwise, I'm afraid that signing up for 50+ affiliate accounts may get tedious.

I appreciate the adsense comment as well. I had considered that as well, but I was worried because I was unable to find a way to integrate adsense html into e-mails. Or did you mean just adsense on the site in general?

Thanks again for your input.

Adsense on the website, and affiliate links in emails. I don't know a specific affiliate website to cover the whole healthcare niche, but you should register on Clickbank, they have many offers there, I'm sure you can find something useful. Maybe other guys in healthcare niche can suggest something better. Good luck!
