I have a domain on namecheap, and have a godaddy hosting.

Now I've added the domain to godaddy, changed nameservers as provided by GoDaddy.

When I try to connect to the site using cuteftp, it says..

Can't resolve "mydomain.com". Network connectivity was detected. Check the spelling of the server name or contact the server administrator.

    domain spelling is correct.

    What could be wrong?

I think I'm missing something here.. Any help would be appreciated,

I had a very similar issue just in the past few weeks. Changed DNS on a domain name, and the website resolved to the DNS within a few hours (I could surf to www dot myname dot tld) and see the "new site", but I couldn't FTP in...that part of the DNS propagation took longer. My best guess is you're running into the same thing.

Put the ip your site is on instead of the domain into the ftp client. I don't use godaddy but works with other hosts.
