    Hey guise

I have an apache web server I believe on Host Gator, anyways I'm trying to set up the HT Access so that it redirects the www version of the URL's to the http. I can't figure out how to make it so that whatever URL it is, it redirects to the same URL but without the WWW attached.

Could anyone help out on this? I looked through a ton of code and I can't get it working; I have to include back slashes before apostrophes and such so maybe I have it coded wrong.

    Thanks

There is an option/icon in the Hostgator control panel called 'Redirect'. Click on that and select the domain you which to redirect, then below is an option to select which version to redirect (ie with www or without www), then type in the domain you wish to redirect to.

In your case you select yourdomain.com, click 'with www' and type in yourdomain.com

Make sure it says '301 redirect' (perm) at the top.
