I have been lurking for a while now and would like to start my own dating or sex dating site and have some questions?.
I have seen various companies charge anywhere from $29.95 for a month to $599 for a year upfront?.. Is there a lot more risk involved with higher pricing as far as cancellations after the set amount of hours of their free trial, say 24-48 hours if they do not cancel?
If the cardholder does not have sufficient money on their card, how often and for how long does it try to bill the card? I have heard once to up to a month, on a daily basis? Are most CC processors ok with this?
I have seen staggered billing, what I mean is it will try to charge a full-year subscription of say $599, if the money is not on the card it tries to bill $299 for 6 months, if there is still not sufficient money on the card it tries to bill for $149 for three months, down to $99 for two, down to $49 for a one month subscription?.. is this ok in most CC processors eyes?
My main question is if I have high billing such as $300-$600 and even if they agree to the terms and conditions will I have problems with charge-backs?
Do most sites CPA/dating sites fight the charges or just give money back to avoid issues with their CC processors wanting to cancel with them?
On another note 100% of my leads sent to my site will be blackhat ? I will not be Iframing or anything of that nature but the whole way my leads will be generated will be with blackhat methods?. Is this ok with CC processors even if the customer agrees to the terms and condition etc?
My other questions are?.
What processors are ok with this type of business model?
What do I have to do to stay with them and not get cancelled?
What percentage of people cancel their free trial within the 2 or 3 days that program says is a ?trial period??
What percentage bitch and complain and actually get their money back?
Do the site owners/manager?s just give money back to whoever complains, or do they try to fight them saying they agreed to the terms etc
