    Seoiraj,

You don't have to take any extra care for doing SEO to a Joomla site. You would do it much the same way you would for any other site. You can promote them just like any other website as well.

As for recommending custom php or Joomla, I guess it would depend on your purposes. In terms of SEO, as long as you can still optimize your content, it really doesn't matter whether you make a custom built site or use a CMS like Joomla. There are some good plugins for Joomla for SEO so maybe that would be one benefit over a custom solution. It may also be much easier to update the site.

Here are some tips for doing SEO on your joomla site,

    Hope that helps,

    Hello Shawn,

Thanks for the valuable input. I checked your provided link. This link addresses all part of Joomla + SEO. Just one concern area. Speed. As per my knowledge the speed is the most critical part of the SEO and Joomla is bit slow. Do you think that suggested way-out will work? browser cache, Ggip etc.

    Cheers,

You have several options. You can use any other frame as well to make your things more valuable and effective:)
Wordpress is rich with plugins and i will suggest you to go to that part.
By the way, there is not any especial difference between PHP and Joomla.

    Seoiraj,

You can speed up a Joomla site by using some well known tactics. Reduce the amount of http requests to the server by combining CSS and JS files. Serve scaled images, minify CSS and JS files, enable gzip compression, and utilize CSS sprites for images that are served together all the time.
