the goal is to provide good articles, pictures, and interviews of bodybuilders, fitness competitors, and natural physiques. was going to promote through facebook, try getting backlinks and putting it on forums. stuff like that.

would obviously try to write articles that are dense in keywords

ya i checked it out. i also checked bustaname which was a little helpful but nothing that would catch my eye to be honest.

i am trying to do keyword research but cant seem to figure out how to do it. i type in competitor sites but the keywords are very vague.

Not really sure if this answers your question?

Competitors are probably using keywords outside their domains to bring traffic in, Such as writing blogs and articles so they don't need the actual keywords on their main domain page. It's much easier to write 50 articles about "fitness", another 50 about "fitness eatting" and another 50 on "fitness life", then post them to ezine, blogger, squidoo, mail them to email lists then it is to us every keyword on their own domain page.

i have to agree. from the competitors i saw, this is EXACTLY what they are doing.

i just need a catchy domain name though that is easy for people to remmeber and type. people do not want to type long hyphenated domain names with multiple syllables.

    ya i hear ya

people say you NEED a keyword in the domain name

i.e. i was thinking of using BulkHogan dot com. kinda a play on hulk hogan, kinda funny, easy to remmeber, articles about "bulking up" gaining muscle, losing fat etc. problem is people dont search for "bulk" on google too much so not sure if that woul dbe good.

keyword elite isnt that helpful for me so far or i am using it wrong. if you got any suggestions or words i can try to put together please let me know. thanks man!:)

Since your diving deep into the world of fitness and bodybuilding, you have two approaches.

A random name (like BulkHogan) where you're looking to just brand the site.
Or something with deep relevance to your niche, such as:
    Muscle{InsterKeyword}.com

Personally, I think your better with a random name in the long run. Come up with great content, then build the brand naturally

    best of luck

    use www.bustaname.com

    Enter keywords.

    See what's available.

I spend hours at that site dicking around and coming up with good domain names.

I hate it when that happens.

    That's a great domain name, btw :(

The "i" prefix is all over everything now. It's stupid, but it's extremely popular.
