    Hi,

I have an old wordpress blog i bought some time ago but never had the chance to tinker with. It is PR3 but every post has multiple links to external sites which i want to remove. There are around 600+ posts so is there a plugin or any method short of removing the links one by one, post by post?

    Cheers,

    Kahthan

I'm not sure if there's a plugin for that but what I can suggest you is this:

    1. Export all your blog posts (there's a feature in the CP for that)
    2. Open the exported file in your favourite editor (I use Notepad++ for such things - works wonders)
    3. Filter out lines that contain the phrase "http://" and work your way through the file
    4. Import the modified file, overwriting all your posts

If it's 600+ posts then it can be a lot of hassle but probably doable in a couple of hours.

Just do an SQL query on all the posts.
